Leafy Greens & Brassicas

BioRevolution’s leafy greens and brassicas programme is focused on helping growers improve seedling development, root growth, harvest maturity, and final head size across crops such as lettuce, cauliflower, and cabbage. The trial work below shows how C4L performed across different crop stages and production goals.

Application Rate:

50 mL/100 L of water

Lettuce:
Head Weight at harvest

For short-cycle vegetable crops, early establishment and root development are critical. Better seedling performance can influence crop uniformity, harvest timing, and final marketable size. The results below illustrate how the programme supported both vegetative development and harvest outcomes in leafy crops and brassicas.

C4L increased lettuce head weight by 11% compared to the standard programme.

Root Development

C4L enhanced root development by 66% compared to the standard programme.

Head size

Philippi - 2015

Planting date: 18 Dec 2014

Sample size: 40 plants

Three C4L applications increased the cabbage in the top two size categories by 50%, with a seedling treatment further improving average head size.
