Sunflowers
BioRevolution’s sunflower programme has been assessed across multiple seasons to measure how C4L performs under different rainfall conditions and application rates. The trial data below shows that the programme consistently improved yield, including in dry years when crop stress is often more pronounced.
Sunflower Spray Programme

Yield (t/ha)
Virginia - 2013 & 2015
Semi-commercial trials
One application of C4L at 100 mL/ha resulted in a significant yield increase during a very dry year in 2013 and a better rainfall year in 2015, with increases of 62% and 46%, respectively.
One of the most useful features of the sunflower data is its consistency across contrasting seasons. The results suggest that the programme has value not only in favourable years, but also when crops are under pressure and growers need to protect yield potential more carefully.
Yield (t/ha)
Virginia - 2013 & 2017
Semi-commercial trials

One application of C4L at 100 mL/ha resulted in a significant yield increase during a very dry year in 2013 and a better rainfall year in 2017, with increases of 20% and 14%, respectively.

Yield (t/ha)
Virginia - 2017
Semi-commercial trials
C4L applied at 100 mL/ha and 200 mL/ha both increased yield, with the higher rate of 200 mL/ha delivering a further increase from 13% to 28% compared to the 100 mL/ha application.
