Strawberries
BioRevolution’s strawberry programme focuses on early plant vigour, canopy development, fruit number, and final yield. The Santa Maria trial results below show how C4L influenced crop performance from the early establishment phase through to harvest.
Trial Application Schedule
Santa Maria, California - 2024
7 Replicates, Randomised block design

Plot size:
Application: 1.5 m wide x 90 m long strip (harvest data: 6 m long x 7 replicates)
Application method: Foliar

Early Plant Vigour
Santa Maria, California - 2024
A 7.9% increase was observed comparing C4L with the UTC.
Evaluations:
-
19 January 2024
-
26 February 2024
Plant Vigour: Darkness & Size
Santa Maria, California - 2024

C4L statistically significantly increased overall plant vigour by 15%.

Yield: Number of fruit per plot
Santa Maria, California - 2024
C4L application statistically significantly increased the number of fruit per plot by 11.3% compared to the untreated control (UTC).
In strawberries, early vigour can shape the rest of the season by influencing canopy health, flowering potential, and fruit set. The measured gains shown below suggest that stronger early growth translated into better yield performance later in the crop cycle.
Yield (t/ha)
Santa Maria, California - 2024

C4L application resulted in a statistically significant 10.7% yield increase compared to the untreated control (UTC).
